Measuring the armhole

This will be used to draft the sleeve pattern.
Back armhole + Front armhole / 2 + 1/4

$\left(9\frac{1}{2},+,8\frac{3}{4}\right)÷2+\frac{1}{4}=9\frac{5}{8}$
